Winnie the Pooh Mural Fuengirola
This was the 1st ever children’s mural I had the opportunity to work on, in fact I was still very new to flying solo and controlling my own projects away from my apprenticeship. So it was a great confidence boost to work on and successfully complete the mural at a standard I was happy with, it was a good feeling.
We was going to originally go with a pirate kind of theme, same broken wall look but instead of looking out to a world of Winnie the Pooh it would be looking out over a ocean with a pirate ship and a small island, In fact let me see if I can dig it up, I’m a real stickler for hording things and there’s a good chance its thrown in a folder somewhere…
Well I can’t believe it, I found it.
So this was the original idea, but on the day of the job they decided to go with Winnie the Pooh, so I found myself driving round Fuengirola looking for a book store to buy something with Winnie the Pooh reference. Ah yes that was before the miraculous days of the Smart phone, Tablets the age of having the whole world information right there in your pocket.
So I found some reference material, got back to the job and begun right away. It feels like it was only last week, I even remember what book I was reading, Dan Brown Angels & Demons, a real page tuner.
Thanks for reading about the Pooh mural fuengirola
